We’re shouting about EVs!
Throughout March, you’ll see billboards and online ads from Gen Less featuring Kiwi organisations who are driving the uptake of electric vehicles (EVs). Whether they drive them, share them, rent them out, or they’ve installed public charging infrastructure, these organisations are leading the electric revolution.
Why are we doing it? Because electrifying road transport is one of the key ways we can reduce our emissions, and we want to encourage more businesses and individuals to consider them for their next car purchase. If people see that they’re being used across the country, in diverse industries, they’ll see what a great choice they are.
Talking about EVs celebrates them. It normalises the idea of them in business, and shows leadership by inspiring others. Ultimately, a growing electric fleet will help meet New Zealand’s climate change commitments.
